Fundraiser

NICE is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with a movement disorder. We work with children and adults affected by conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s, Stroke and MS. We push the boundaries of human potential for people with a movement disorder by teaching them, through Conductive Education, a range of skills that promote an active lifestyle and new opportunities in society.

We are looking to recruit a Fundraiser to join our team and are looking for someone who is able to maximise income and awareness and create opportunities to help the raise funds for both ongoing and developing services.

The successful applicant will have proven experience of fundraising, alongside ideally, experience of community, social media and events.

This job has the potential to develop your experience in all aspects of fundraising, helping to promote your experience in this field.

It is essential that candidates can work effectively within a small team and possess:

• Knowledge and experience of increasing support of donors, by nurturing and developing them 
• Experience of managing a varied workload effectively, planning and organising a number of projects at one time to set timescales 
• Experience of working effectively without close supervision, dealing with problems as they arise
• Experience of using charity databases
• Able to communicate clearly, assertively and sensitively, working with a wide range of people at all levels both in writing and verbally.

The position is based at our office in Moseley, Birmingham.

This role will require some out of hours working.
