The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.

The Prince's Trust is the UK's leading youth charity supporting 13-30 year olds who are unemployed or educational underachievers to move into education, training or employment.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our Fundraising Data and Supporter Insight team as Fundraising Database Manager. The team is a relatively new unit, with the aim of driving and developing deep and meaningful knowledge of our supporters and their engagement with the organisation, whilst providing the foundations for excellence in data driven fundraising at The Prince's Trust. The team's function is not just to manage data but to help translate it into meaningful insight which can aid decision making right across our fundraising teams, both strategically and operationally.

As a charity, we have ambitious plans to help more young people and are therefore setting out an aim to raise more money. Data driven decision making will help underpin and drive this income growth. It means you'll be joining the team at an especially exciting time, playing a pivotal role in helping us develop new and innovative ways of working with data, to help us grow our income and support many more young people right across the UK.

The recruitment of this post comes at a key moment in the delivery of our ambitious fundraising strategy as we begin to use data at a much greater scale to manage our fundraising pipelines and communicate with our supporters beyond our 40th anniversary year.

The successful candidate will have the ability and desire to be part of this transformative work, to think critically and find new and elegant solutions to the way we work with data. They will be able to clearly demonstrate a track record of managing a SQL CRM database, providing quality support and solutions to end users, alongside delivering big impact projects. They will have passion for our mission of giving every young person the chance to succeed and demonstrate The Prince's Trust's value.

Interviews are likely to be held on Friday 11th and Thursday 17th August.

The Prince's Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

A NOTE FOR RECRUITMENT AGENCIES

We prefer to hire people directly, but we do have a preferred supplier list for when we'd like a helping hand. We'll be in touch if we need you.

We reserve the right to change the closing date depending on the number of responses received. Please submit your application as soon as possible to ensure it is considered in the selection process. If you have a disability and can demonstrate that closing this post early would impact on your ability to submit an application in time, please contact our HR team on to request arrangements for an application to be submitted within the original timeframe
