The Dystonia Society is recruiting a fundraising manager to lead our fundraising team. This is a great opportunity for a successful fundraiser to apply and develop their skills in a small but highly-regarded national organisation, working across a range of fundraising disciplines.

As well as leading our fundraising team the post-holder will work closely with the CEO, and with colleagues across the organisation, to develop projects and activities, and work to develop new donors and funding streams.

The Dystonia Society exists to support anyone in the UK with dystonia – a complex, hugely challenging neurological movement disorder that affects around 70,000 people across the UK. We offer support through our helpline and advocacy service, our local groups and events across the country, our wealth of information and advice and research projects. We are a fantastic small organisation, delivering support to thousands of people with a little known and hugely challenging condition, and with real potential to develop and grow with the right resources.

We are looking to recruit a passionate and experienced fundraiser, with strong experience of trust fundraising in particular, to help push our fundraising to the next level. You will have a good network of contacts and an ability to think creatively and identify new opportunities and prospects. You will be able to work in detail on bids, while also able to look strategically and shape our fundraising strategy across a wide range of different audiences and disciplines.

This is a critical leadership role within the Society, and offers a great opportunity to work very closely alongside a CEO to lead and drive successful fundraising in a small national organisation with immense potential.

To apply please submit a CV and covering letter explaining how you meet the requirements in the person specification.
