At the Youth Sport Trust we’re driving change. As the leading youth sport charity we are devoted to improving the lives of young people through high quality PE and sport. We are an ambitious charity with a clear vision for growth and a strong sense of values. Now is an exciting time for a creative and experienced fundraiser to join us and attract new supporters and secure new income as well as strengthen relationships with current funders to meet ambitious income targets.

As Fundraising Manager we will look to you to develop a strategy to grow support from a range of sources to maximise unrestricted fundraising income. This will involve engaging with individual supporters, delivering an annual challenge and events programme, developing fundraising campaigns and managing Charity of the Year partnerships. You will establish and grow a donor database, providing greater insight into, and methods of engaging with, our supporters. In addition, you will monitor effectiveness, oversee regular stakeholder reporting and ensure learning is utilised to improve performance. As fundraising champion you will also contribute to internal communication and staff development to ensure we continue to maximise opportunities and follow best practice.

You must have experience of developing and implementing public fundraising campaigns. This will have given you the ability to create positive supporter journeys and associated marketing and communications collateral. You will excel at researching funding opportunities and can demonstrate a good understanding of best practice fundraising techniques. You understand, through your knowledge of relationship management and good customer care, that building rapport with others is essential and are skilled at managing donor relationships.

Join our team and enjoy benefits including 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, pension contribution of 5% of basic salary and childcare vouchers.

Youth Sport Trust positively welcomes and seeks to ensure we achieve diversity in our workforce and that all job applicants and employees receive equal and fair treatment. We encourage applications from all candidates regardless of age, race, gender, gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.

If you have the skills to deliver increased income to support our work to build a brighter future for young people through sport please visit our website and apply online via the link.
