Fundraising Officer (Trusts & Foundations)

We have a vacancy for a part-time fundraiser to join our team based in Edinburgh. This is a fixed term post from Apr-Dec 2017. Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading our work on fundraising from Trusts and Foundations. As well as identifying suitable bodies, you’ll be writing tailored funding proposals, stewarding existing funders and prospects, and overseeing the administrative processes of fundraising income.

Applicants should ideally have worked in a similar role, and have had experience of planning and writing funding approaches. You’ll need excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and need to be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail. Previous experience of Raiser’s Edge would be desirable, and a professional qualification from the Institute of Fundraisers would also be useful.

Ideally we’d be looking for someone to undertake 2 days per week with us, though we could be flexible as to how this would be worked.
