Main Accountabilities

  • You will be expected to work independently as well as across different teams in order to contribute to and deliver the priorities of Culture Perth and Kinross - using your knowledge, skills, talent and potential to the best of your ability.

  • You will focus at all times on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring value for money while being professional, courteous and demonstrating the behaviours and attributes expected of all Culture Perth and Kinross employees.

The post holder will work closely with the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team but will also proactively pursue their own fundraising goals independently. This will involve face-to-face meetings with prospective donors to solicit major gifts (£15,000+).

This can involve a high degree of complexity and the post holder will have an eye for detail, as well as the ability to produce quality written work.

  • To assist colleagues outwith the organisation working on shared capital project fundraising activity where appropriate.

  • To secure philanthropic funding opportunities, working closely with donors and colleagues to prepare gift agreements that accurately reflect the wishes of all parties. The post holder will also support the stewardship of donations, ensuring that donors are kept up to date with the impact that their gift is having, helping to ensure that that donors will want to support Culture Perth and Kinross again in the future.
