Are you an analytical, strategic and deadline-driven individual with a proven track record of delivering insight, reporting and actionable recommendations in a mass-fundraising or marketing context?

If so, Greenpeace UK is looking for an experienced Insight Manager to join our team and act as the central point of contact for all Greenpeace UK’s insight requests.

Greenpeace is an international non-profit global campaigning organisation. Our independence and global reach enables us to stand for positive change through action in order to defend nature and promote peace. We investigate and expose global environmental problems, confront those in positions of power and present alternative solutions.

About this role

Our successful candidate will focus on ensuring fundraising staff have all the information they need through reports, analysis and models to develop and deliver high-performing activities. With the support of two colleagues, whom you will be responsible for line managing, this will see you scope and prioritise workflow effectively to ensure the correct insight requests are worked on, before drawing out the ‘essence’ of each request and their strategic aims.

You will also be expected to communicate effectively with all stakeholders to plan and update on each request’s progress, plus project manage the delivery of a suite of reports and dashboards to show supporter behaviour and fundraising and engagement performance. Designing and building models and frameworks which improve the sophistication of the organisation’s understanding of supporters is a key duty, as is leading the analysis of behavioural, transactional and external data.

An outstanding communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex, technical information to non-technical staff, you will also have a proven record of managing and developing a team, preferably a data insight team. Strong prioritisation, interpersonal and collaborative skills are vital, as is support for, and belief in, the aims of Greenpeace.

You will have an extensive background in scoping, managing and prioritising large numbers of competing requests for information, plus experience using and building reports, preferably in Tableau, and with SQL and data science tools.
