Development & Fundraising Manager (Hatfield, Luton or Alconbury)

Groundwork East is in an exciting stage of growth and change. With a turnover of £3.5 million and 70 staff, we are in a strong position to build on our achievements so far. 

The Development & Fundraising Manager post is a crucial role working to drive forward the Trust’s fundraising and development strategies. We are seeking an ambitious individual who will develop new and maintain existing partnerships with local government, trusts and foundations, businesses, community organisations and local/regional agencies. In so doing, you will create new programmes in accordance with our business plan. You will research and understand community needs, build relationships with partners and funders, develop new project concepts and then secure funding to make these plans happen.

This is a unique opportunity to use your proven fundraising, tender writing, project development and relationship management expertise to ensure positive change in the most deprived areas in the east.  You will focus in particular on developing projects and fundraising in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

Full time 37 hours per week - 2 year fixed term contract (with potential for extension)
