Events Fundraiser - working from home but preferably Surrey based

Purpose of Role:

Harrison’s Fund is a small but growing charity with the sole aim of funding research to provide treatment and eventually a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Set up in 2011 by Harrison Smith’s parents, the charity consists of Chief Executive (Harrison’s Dad), Head of Fundraising, Community Fundraising & Campaigns Executive, an external PR consultant and several volunteers.

You will be an experienced fundraiser with a minimum of three years working in an events and marketing role. It is essential that you are able to work on multiple projects in a range of disciplines.

An excellent communicator, both written and verbally, you will engage with a variety of audiences to achieve maximum growth and financial attainment for Harrison’s Fund through a variety of sports and challenge events.

You should be a confident self-starter and enjoy working in a small team. The charity is growing but it is important that you are happy to muck in and take on a variety of roles!
