The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.

Prince's Trust Online is a new digital learning and mentoring channel which we will launch this year as part of The Trust's growth strategy to support one million young people over the next ten years.  Prince's Trust Online will complement our existing programme portfolio by offering a digital service that will enable us to reach out to those young people who aren't accessing our face-to-face programmes for a variety of reasons. Prince's Trust Online will provide a more wide-reaching and flexible offer of support to our young people.

Digital volunteers are crucial to Prince's Trust Online as they will enable us to provide digital delivery which aligns with The Trust's USP - the personalised relationship.  All young people's online journeys will be fully supported by an e-volunteer to ensure quality outcomes are achieved.

This exciting new role will lead and develop the digital volunteering delivery team alongside driving the significant growth of our digital volunteer support.   The role is varied and fast paced and combines working closely with colleagues across other teams, leading the recruitment, training and management of all digital volunteers and supporting these volunteers to work with our young people to achieve positive outcomes.

We are looking for an outstanding individual with significant volunteer management experience.

The Prince's Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check.

A NOTE FOR RECRUITMENT AGENCIES

We reserve the right to change the closing date depending on the number of responses received. Please submit your application as soon as possible to ensure it is considered in the selection process. If you have a disability and can demonstrate that closing this post early would impact on your ability to submit an application in time, please contact our HR team to request arrangements for an application to be submitted within the original timeframe.
