BECOME A KEY MEMBER OF THE TEAM THAT ENSURES THAT AMBULANCE STAFF PRESENT AND PAST AND THEIR FAMILIES ARE SUPPORTED IN TIMES OF NEED

About TASC

TASC is the only national charity offering support to ambulance staff UK wide.  TASC has a small but expanding staff team working from its head office in Coventry. TASC offers a range of services to support present and past ambulance staff and their families in times of need.  Support is offered to those from the NHS and independent sectors, and is available to ALL ambulance staff.

Currently TASC is the ambulance community’s best kept secret.  We want to change this.  To raise awareness of the charity, its work, its support and importantly for this role, its fundraising activities. TASC are recruiting a Head of Fundraising who will join a growing head office team based in Coventry.  Recent appointments to enhance to team and fundraising successes include a Communications Manager and Volunteer Coordinator.

This is an exciting stage for the charity.  TASC have secured funding for the next three years to promote the charity, raise its profile and income streams, enabling TASC to support for more ambulance staff, present and past, and their families in time of need.

Current fundraising within TASC

Awareness about TASC is slowly growing, and with that several independent community fundraising events have taken place where people have raised funds for the charity, some events run by ambulance staff themselves, others from people who have received good care from ambulance teams. TASC has a little corporate support – but so much more could be achieved.  In mem. donations are gradually increasing, as are one-off donations.  There are 70,000 ambulance staff working in the NHS.  Many already raise money for other charities – TASC wants to convert these enthusiastic ambulance staff to become fundraisers for TASC.   We also want to attract more donations from the public, including high net worth donors and corporate supporters.
