THE PROJECT

Quarriers Business Development and Fundraising department (BDFR) are responsible for securing new income to deliver our services in Scotland. Quarriers service portfolio includes social care services for both adults and children with disability, support for people who are homeless, support for people with epilepsy (including our world class clinical services at the William Quarriers Scottish Epilepsy Centre); and a range of complementary care and value-led support for some of society’s most vulnerable people, and their families and carers.

Reporting to the Depute Chief Executive, and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility to deliver Quarriers’ income generation strategy through multiple income streams including New Business Development, Relationship Fundraising, Grants and Trusts and Legacy while developing new diversified income opportunities.

You will have significant experience and knowledge of growing income and delivering customer care and a deep understanding of building a pipeline, acquisition and stewardship of new supporters/customers.

We are looking for the successful candidate to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organisational and planning skills, whilst being proactive working under pressure to tight deadlines. You will have a high degree of motivation to lead and inspire the Fundraising and Business Development team, encouraging personal development.

Knowledge of MS applications particularly Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint are essential.  Due to the nature of the role, it is vital you are a driver and have access to your own vehicle.
