Head of US Fundraising

We are looking for a highly motivated, relational communicator with knowledge and insight into the diverse Christian context in the US who has a passion to see people freed from poverty, living whole transformed lives, to fulfil Tearfund's new post as Head of US Fundraising. 

As our reputation has grown across the world, we’ve begun to see new partnerships develop with some of the US’s largest churches and key foundations.  We’re now looking for someone to help us build and develop our existing strategy for raising resources from the US, whilst building the knowledge of our brand. This is a new, exciting role to Tearfund and one which provides the opportunity for the successful candidate to apply their strategic skills and any experience in marketing and fundraising to further grow this area of our work. 

We’re looking for a great relationship builder, with excellent communication skills and the ability to make an ask.  You'll be passionate about issues of poverty and justice, able to quickly connect with people and enthuse them about Tearfund’s work.

NB: The role will be based in the UK and therefore it is a requirement that the applicant must already be eligible to work in the UK. There is an expectation that there will be frequent travel over to the US.
