Supporter Care Officer / Administrator (Fundraising)

Position: National Fundraising Supporter Care Officer 
Location: Whitefriars, Bristol, BS1 
Contract: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours per week 
Salary: £23,747 per annum

About the role 

The National Fundraising Supporter Care Officer is responsible for supporting the National Fundraising team in all aspects of Supporter Care. Key responsibilities will include implementing and developing Hft’s Supporter Care Strategy, building relationships with Hft supporters and supporting the Database Officer to maintain and develop an effective database. 

About you: 

The successful candidate will either be educated to degree level or have significant equivalent work experience. You will have proven administration/clerical experience and numeracy and literacy skills, with ability to compose letters to internal and external customers. 

Additionally, you will have in depth experience of, and competence in using Raiser’s Edge to create queries, export information, use dashboards and undertake other data requests. Up to date knowledge of relevant fundraising laws and codes of practice is also essential. Experience of working in the charity sector or sales/customer service environment would be an advantage. 

You must have the ability to travel across England with occasional overnight stays, either to attend training courses or meetings, and the ability at times to work outside the “normal” working week and be flexible about working hours.
