Child Bereavement UK supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. Every year we train over 8,000 professionals, helping them to better understand and meet the needs of grieving families.

In the UK, when a baby or child dies or a child is bereaved, many of those affected are unable to access good quality support which meets their individual needs. Child Bereavement UK believes all families should have the support they need to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. Our aim is to make sure they do.

High Value Fundraiser
Location: UK Head Office - Saunderton, Buckinghamshire
Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week, flexible working hours to be agreed)
Terms: Permanent
Salary: £18,000 per annum (pro rata)

This is an exciting time to join the charity as it expands its services across the UK to provide bereavement support to many more families in more locations and to train more professionals nationwide.

The High Value Fundraiser will support the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Major Gifts Manager in developing a robust pipeline of research and approaches to secure support from new and existing corporate and individual major donors. The post holder will be both creative and analytical and be able to provide first class administration, research and database maintenance to help maximise support and retention of a portfolio of existing, prospective and future donors. The post holder will also coordinate smaller corporate and major donor relationships, with the support of the High Value Giving team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable and self-motivated individual with strong administrative skills and attention to detail, who is confident in working with diverse information, including numerical information; extremely well organised and able to manage a diverse workload to meet deadlines. You will enjoy working in a busy environment as part of a friendly, professional team in a growing organisation. A flexible and team-oriented approach is essential and previous experience in research, administration, and using a fundraising/CRM database are an advantage.
