Corporate Partnerships & Fundraising Manager

Home-Start Trafford, Salford and Wigan, (one of Greater Manchester's leading family support charities), is looking to appoint a Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising Manager. This is a new, but vital role, as the charity seeks to diversify it's income streams.

In an ideal world, a charity like Home-Start would not be needed, all parents would be able to bring up their children free from stress and strain. But for many parents, coping with issues such as poverty, poor mental health and family breakdown has a severe impact on their parenting. And this is where Home-Start steps in. A network of locally trained volunteers, with parenting experience, visit families each week in their own homes offering tailored-made emotional and practical support. A simple approach that makes such a difference. 

Home-Start Trafford Salford & Wigan are about to commence a three year growth strategy and are looking to engage an individual who has a sound knowledge of the local business community and who will be able to engage corporate partners in helping us to deliver on our fundraising and volunteer targets. 

This role will suit an individual who is highly motivated and well connected with a proven track record in developing and achieving fundraising results, and with a passion for improving the childhoods of children living in local communities.
