Events Assistant / Fundraising Assistant

Position: Fundraising and Events Assistant
Location: East Clyffe nr Salisbury, Wiltshire
Job type: Full Time, Temporary
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £18,015 to £20,900 per annum

About the role:

In applying for this role, you could be kick-starting a career in the non-profit sector and you will gain vital experience in a number of different but essential aspects of fundraising. You will be joining an organisation that is specialising in producing high quality events, highly personalised supporter care and bespoke data services.

As Fundraising Assistant, you will be working across a range of teams in our fundraising department to support these activities including our events portfolio and the daily running of the office. This includes working on our flagship Night of Adventure series planned for March 2020, as well as a brand new challenge event, The Canary Wharf Rowathon. Alongside this, you will assist with the planning of our annual London Carol Concert.

About you:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for an energetic and highly organised individual who has the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. You should be competent in the use of Office packages such as Word, Outlook, Excel and similar packages and will have had experience in managing electronic data. You will be a team player, be able to work closely with a range of different teams and build a rapport with our supporters.

You may have experience of the following: Administrative Assistant, Fundraising Assistant, Fundraising Executive, Administrative Support, Events Coordinator, Events Assistant, Database Assistant, Charity, Charities, NFP, Not for Profit, Third Sector, etc.
