Head of Development

House of Illustration is seeking a Head of Development. Reporting to the Director this role has overall responsibility for creating and implementing a robust fundraising strategy to support the delivery of our vision and programmes. In addition to generating funding towards core costs the post-holder will work closely with the Director on the fundraising required for a significant capital campaign following the organisation’s acquisition of an exciting new central London site. This is an important post in a busy and dynamic team that will involve working in collaboration with colleagues across all areas. 

The successful candidate will be an energetic, entrepreneurial and highly motivated self-starter with enthusiasm, commitment and creativity, and a track record of significant fundraising achievement. They will have significant experience of operating at a senior level and of being strategic.
