We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic corporate partnerships expert to manage Independent Age’s new corporate partnerships fundraising strategy. This is a new role with huge opportunity for impact, supporting a drive for new business to deliver long-term strategic partnerships and significant income growth.

Over the past 10 years, Independent Age has been through a major transformation. We’ve moved from operating as a benevolent trust, to establishing ourselves as a charity that provides impact at scale, helping older people stay independent and live well. Last year, 1 million people accessed our services.

Our plan now is to significantly increase our number of supporters and service users, and to deepen our engagement with them. In order to seize this opportunity and help us turn this vision into a reality, we have brought together the key functions that drive the public to Independent Age – Marketing, Communications and Fundraising – and taken the bold step of building a brand new Engagement Division.

Key to our new Engagement Vision is our ability to create strategic partnerships, delivering exceptional supporter experience and utilising the networks across the organisation to deliver long-term support.

You’ll play a key role in this new Division, managing the development of Independent Age’s new corporate partnership strategy. You’ll lead its implementation across all our activities and develop a relationship fundraising culture across the wider Engagement division. Whilst recognising the challenge ahead, our expectations are realistic and we are incredibly excited by the prospect of dramatically increasing our partnerships with corporate organisations. You will play a central role in creating and testing propositions that will ultimately see us securing new strategic partnerships.

You’ll have a track record of achieving significant corporate support and successfully building long-term corporate relationships. You will have worked with senior colleagues to develop and implement long-term strategies, including ongoing relationships, Charity of the Year partnerships, pro bono support and one-off gifts. Most importantly you’ll be inspired by this unique opportunity to harness the support of corporate partners to help more older people as the UK grows older.

If this is you, we’d love to hear from you.

“All applications will be forwarded to our recruitment partners Charity People”

Closing date is 29th June 2018.
