The Trust is therefore looking to appoint an Individual & Corporate Giving Fundraiser to build income generation from these two key supporter types. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the successful candidate will lead on the development and implementation of a range of methods to build support from
individuals and corporations. This is a rare opportunity to make a real difference as the Trust’s fundraising activity is very much in its infancy.

  • Planning and co-ordinating the stewardship of individual and corporate donors and developing the donor journey.
  • Supporting the evolution of a park membership package for both individual and corporate supporters.
  • Nurturing relations with local organisations to attract sponsorship, donations, or other forms of corporate support.
  • Managing a schedule of regular appeals and fundraising events that are in line with Trust funding needs and priorities
  • Supporting local fundraising volunteers through the creation of a "friends of" group.

The position requires an experienced and talented individual to take forward this work for the Trust. You will have a solid background in fundraising, ideally from individual and corporate sources. This experience should(preferably) have been gained with an environmental / leisure organisation operating in a charitableenvironment. You will be competent at presenting a clear and compelling pitch to potential funders both inwriting and in person. Your determination, tenacity and proactive attitude will be key to the realisation of ourfundraising potential from individuals and corporate supporters.
