Y Care International (YCI) is looking for an energetic, diligent and target driven Individual Giving Manager to join its fun and dynamic Fundraising & Marketing team. You will have excellent relationship and communication skills and the expertise and determination to win support from existing and new sources of support and financial investment.

YCI’s strategy (2015-20) sets ambitious targets for our international work to achieve greater impact for vulnerable young people around the world. This post is crucial to achieving YCI’s goals, to maintain the current level of support from existing donors and also to increase significantly income from a wider range of sources.

The role will work with staff across YCI and external agencies create and implement direct marketing and legacy marketing strategies to strengthen YCI’s capacity for, and success in, fundraising from individuals, and lead the development and implementation of donor care strategies.

The successful candidate will have a university degree or equivalent. You will have experience in direct marketing fundraising, including acquisition campaigns across media, digital and direct mail channels. Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing successful supporter journeys is a must. We are looking for someone with a creative and entrepreneurial approach to work and proven experience of fundraising innovation including new product development.

Commitment to Y Care International’s ‘Working with Children and Young People Policy’ is a requirement of employment. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
