As a direct marketer with experience in generating income across multiple channels, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing supporter acquisition and retention activity. You will also manage the League Lotto, raffles and merchandise.


The League is Britain's leading charity working to stop animals from being persecuted, abused and killed for sport. The League was instrumental in helping bring about the landmark Hunting Act. We manage sanctuaries to protect wildlife, carry out investigations to expose law-breaking and cruelty to animals, and campaign for stronger animal protection laws and penalties. We work to change attitudes and behaviour through education, fact-based videos, scientific reports and public engagement events.


Purpose of the Job:

  • Develop relationships with and maximise income from supporters by working with team colleagues to plan and deliver cross-channel marketing and fundraising campaigns, ensuring that agreed targets are met in line with the League’s objectives.
  • Recruit new donors and grow the League’s supporter base by working with colleagues and agencies to plan, test and deliver acquisition activity.
  • Plan, manage and evaluate the League Lotto, raffle and merchandise programmes.
  • Manage projects, allocated resources, budgets, stakeholders and systems.
  • Conduct robust, meaningful analysis of activity to inform future planning and ensure continuous improvement of marketing and fundraising performance.
