At Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust we are fortunate to care for some of the world's most important heritage assets, historic buildings and ancient scheduled monuments. We bring this to life for visitors of all ages through educational programmes, exhibitions and events; all this requires funding and we are looking to recruit a dynamic, energetic and confident fundraiser who is able to lead and inspire a small team to deliver great results.

We are at an exciting stage in our development and the Fundraising Manager will work closely with the Director of Museum Development and across the organisation with other senior managers to implement and deliver our fundraising strategy. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day operation of the fundraising team managing three direct reports. With a proven track record of generating income from a range of giving disciplines including writing successful grant applications, cultivating major individual donors and corporate sponsors the post holder will be a creative thinker able to recognise and respond to opportunities. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can build strong productive relationships with a range of partners, is flexible in their approach to their work, passionate about our purpose and totally professional.

There will be occasional evening and weekend work, full drivers licence and access to own car is essential.
