Fundraising Development Manager

We have recently unveiled our 5 year strategic plan, Together We Care, and will be investing significantly in our clinical services, £0.5 million in the first year alone alongside our staff and volunteers.

By joining our team you will be part of this vision and will help us reach more patients, earlier in their journey, educate those around us by sharing our expertise, and collaborate with others, building partnerships to benefit our patients and their families.

We are looking for a major gifts fundraiser to join our ambitious fundraising team and grow income through developing great relationships with hi-net-worth individuals.

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of multi-year strategies to significantly increase major gifts from high net worth individuals.  You will develop a robust pipeline ofr esearch and approaches to secure support from new and existing donors, working with internal and external stakeholders across the charity's network to maximise opportunities.

Your ability to plan strategically to substantially grow the mjaor donor portfolio is essential, in parallel with the ability to develop compelling funding proposals to engage prospective and existing donors.

You will have responsibility for the income and expenditure budget and financial and activity reporting for this income stream.

Isabel Hospice is seeking an individual with amjor gift fundraising experience and a track record of delivering successful fundraising with the high net worth individuals.  This person will be confident with budget managementa nd tracking and reporting on expenditure and will have solid knowledge of the fundraising environment and best practice, keeping up to date with changes.
