Are you a positive and enthusiastic community fundraiser who would like to work for a charity leading the way in type 1 diabetes research? If so we would love to hear from you.

As a the Regional Fundraiser in London you will be making a difference on a daily basis to the lives of people affected by type 1 diabetes.  You will be responsible for managing and delivering key regional fundraising events including the One Walk London, Ride to Cure Type 1 Diabetes and One Fun Runs.

You will shape and grow the fundraising activities in the region and meet with supporters to maximise fundraising income. You’ll also work closely with the Community Engagement team to help deliver Type 1 Discovery Days and Evenings.

Your role will also mean that you will raise awareness type 1 diabetes and JDRF by speaking at local schools and organisations. Your role will provide you the opportunity to improve your fundraising skills across a different fundraising disciplines.

You’ll have previous experience working towards income budgets and organised events. You will have excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills. You’ll also have experience of managing and motivating individuals or group.

You will be expected to travel in and outside on London of a regular basis, meeting with supporters and supporting organisations that are raising funds for JDRF.

As part of this role you will be expected to undertake a DBS disclosure check.
