Direct Marketing Manager

We're looking for a values-led fundraiser with direct marketing experience to lead our organisational strategy to increase income and recruit new supporters for our work with poor and marginalised communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America. 

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and innovative with several years' direct marketing experience. You will be able to use your creativity to help unlock the untapped potential which exists in our target constituencies. We have some wonderfully loyal and generous supporters in the UK and there is much more we want to do to build stronger relationships with them. We also want to attract new supporters from the schools, universities and communities in which we are present.

You will manage one other member of the team and, for the right candidate, this role presents an exciting opportunity to build on their experience and make their mark on a great cause. 

Jesuit Missions is the office of the Jesuits in Britain. For over 60 years, we have been supporting the international work of Jesuits in Africa, Asia and Latin America. With tens of thousands of Jesuits and lay partners working across the world, there is no shortage of work to be done. Our priorities are to respond to the impact of global warming on marginalised people; to inspire young people to become actively engaged in working for a more just world; and to campaign for climate justice.  

We provide financial support for projects in poor communities across the world. We work in schools and parishes in the UK promoting reflection and action in line with the Jesuit commitment "to serve the faith through the promotion of justice." 

Our small team of nine staff is based in South London. We have an annual income of c£1 million and lots of ambition to grow our work.

As the Jesuits are a global religious order, we’re also part of an international network which creates real opportunities for collaboration so that we can maximise our impact.
