Fundraising Coordinator (Individuals)

Kangaroos is a registered charity founded in 1994, based in Haywards Heath which provides a range of fun,inclusive year round clubs and trips out, in and around Mid Sussex, for children and young adults with learning disabilities and complex medical needs. With the dedication of our staff, volunteers,trustees and supporters, we strive to enrich the lives of our members and their families. We do not let their disabilities hold them back and enable them, in a safe and supporting way, to participate in the majority of activities that we all take for granted

The Fundraising Coordinator (individuals) is an exciting  new role, following on from an internal  restructure. This is a part time role circa 16 hours per week. The post holder will have responsibility for proactively approaching and encouraging individual donors to progress from making one off donations to giving regular donations. Including identifying individual donors that may make high value donations. Develop approaches and procedures that encourage supporters to leave Kangaroos a legacy.

Working as part of the Fundraising team, you will work closely with other members of the fundraising team, as as well as working with the communications coordinator
