National Fundraising Executive

Kidney Cancer UK is looking to appoint an individual to drive its national fundraising strategy forward. The focus of the role is to generate income by encouraging third-party fundraisers, regular giving,along with the charities own events.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Manage a small team across the UK within fundraising for the Charity

· Excellent organisational and administrative skills with an ability to prioritise, plan and manage a complex and varied workload

· Project budget creation

· Fundraiser relationship management

· Engaging and soliciting fundraisers using digital media

· Recruiting and managing fundraising volunteers

· Fundraising event development, promotion and management

· Working with a fundraising database and CRM

Qualifications and Skills

· At least two years' experience in a fundraising or charity role

· Enthusiastic and friendly personality with a confidence in communicating with supporters

· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team

· Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, Photoshop, Internet, and Email.

· An understanding of the important elements of successful fundraising events

· An ability to create and develop ideas to encourage event participation

· Ability to influence and negotiate

· High level of numeracy

· A willingness to travel in the UK on a regular basis and to attend and assist at events during evenings and weekends

· Full clean UK driving license and use of own vehicle essential.

This is a full-time post requiring 35 Hours a week being worked based at our Cambridge Office.
