We are looking for an experienced Trust and Grant Officer who can deliver a strategy to increase income and awareness.  The income streams you will deliver include Trusts, Tender and Commissioning opportunities and Grants. 

KRT are a local charity that works with residents, young people, community groups, statutory groups and local stakeholders to reduce poverty and deprivation in Erdington which is one of England's most deprived areas .

Through our work we aim to;

  • Provide young people and residents with skills and qualifications so they can progress and thrive in employment. 
  • Make Erdington a great place to live and deliver projects that regenerate neglected green-space.
  • Work with partners to ensure residents are aware of and able to participate in community activities.
  • Provide information, advice and support to elderly, socially isolated and vulnerable residents to ensure that theyhave access to a full range of support services.

With attention to detail and excellent written and verbal presentation, you will also have the negotiation and project management skills to co-ordinate the production of complex bids and budgets. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in meeting ambitious targets and building strong relationships and networks.
  • A successful track record of working with and securing significant grants from funding
  • organisations
  • Experience of researching funding sources
  • Experience of developing a funding strategy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, administrative and communication skills
