About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Leonard Cheshire - as member of the fundraising department - at a time of unprecedented change for disabled people.

In this varied role you will support the Trusts and Philanthropy team to raise funds for our UK and International programmes and projects.

About You

We are looking for a creative self-starter, with excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and written and verbal communication skills.

In this varied role, you will be tasked with carrying out research to identify funding opportunities, management of quarterly appeals, preparing and reviewing funding proposals and reports, carrying out administrative tasks to support the team, updating the database, and working very closely with other teams across the department.

You will have prior experience in writing fundraising appeals and proposals, donor research, administrative tasks, and a genuine commitment to Leonard Cheshire’s manifesto to work for a society in which every person is equally valued.
