Events and Fundraising Officer

This is a full time role based in Murrayburgh House, Edinburgh but with travel throughout Scotland.

About the Role

You will be part of our Public Engagement Team and your role will generate income for, and awareness of, Leonard Cheshire in Scotland. Leading on the delivery of the event fundraising calendar you will also support our local services in their fundraising events and support our fundraising and events volunteers.

About You

You will have demonstrable events and fundraising experience and a knowledge of the difference between third-party, community and special events fundraising, and be able to demonstrate experience of organising large scale, events from development through to completion, with an understanding of risk assessments and event management processes.

This is a demanding role and you will possess excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple projects.

This job will entail travel throughout Scotland and an ability to be flexible in working evenings and weekends will be required in order to support events.

You will have basic copywriting experience, along with experience of gathering case studies to feature in fundraising materials
