Fundraising Development Executive

Please note this is a home based role and you will need to live in the London area with a willingness to travel to various locations across the South East.

Leonard Cheshire Disability is the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of services for disabled people.  Our services include high-quality care and community support together with innovative projects supporting disabled people into education, employment and entrepreneurship.  Worldwide, our global alliance of Cheshire partners supports disabled people into education and employment, and works in more than 50 countries.

Working with the Regional Fundraising Development Manager you will develop and implement a regional fundraising strategy which will build on the current income targets, moving from restricted income to unrestricted income.

This is a key role at a time where we have ambitious aims of reaching more people in the UK with disabilities and making a positive difference to their lives.

You will have a proven track record in fundraising with experience working with corporate charity partnerships, applying to local trusts and understanding of recruiting fundraising volunteers. You've have excellent communication skills, networking and relationship building skills.

You will also need to be able to demonstrate an ability to manage and motivate yourself with previous experience of working remotely.  As the role involves travel, a full UK driving licence is essential.
