Permanent
Full time- 35 hours per week
Head Office- London
Ref: 2174

About the Role

The aim of this role is to ensure that Fundraising teams have the information they need, in order to maximise their income by ensuring that the fundraising information system Raiser’s Edge (RE) contains timely, robust and accurate supporter and transactional data.

The role is mainly focused on data imports using Raiser’s Edge and Microsoft Access (we do not have Importomatic). It includes running regular tasks such as processing Direct Debits and on-line donations and ad hoc tasks, for example, importing ad hoc spreadsheets into Raiser’s Edge with the aim of streamlining data flows where possible.

The post holder is expected to proactively ensure that Gift Aid gets consistently captured within the CRM, identifying root-causes for not claiming and improving business processes where needed.

Leonard Cheshire currently works with Raiser’s Edge, but will migrate to Microsoft Dynamics within the next 2 years.

About You

You will be a data enthusiast.  You will be highly organised and bring significant experience with a Donor Management System for data import and data maintenance, along with demonstrable experience of database marketing requirements. The ideal candidate will also have experience with queries and exports, preferably with Raiser’s Edge and be comfortable with Microsoft Access for building data import tools and Excel for data manipulation and reporting.

In this role you will be a focal point for CRM Data Imports, contributing to develop a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation and with the aim of maximising Gift Aid.

A good understanding of the GDPR and fundraising practices is essential for the role.

You will have strong project management skills, along with good interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

You will be able to work under pressure, be positive and resilient.

We seek candidates with a genuine commitment to the values and ethos of Leonard Cheshire and who are excited by this opportunity to make a difference to the lives of people with a disability.
