JDRF is the international type 1 diabetes charity, improving lives until we find the cure.  We fund research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes. We also provide information for children and adults living with the condition at all stages from diagnosis and beyond.  We give a voice to people with type 1 diabetes and campaign for an increased focus on and funding for research to find the cure.

To help us achieve our mission of curing type 1 diabetes we are looking for a highly experienced major donor fundraiser to lead, develop and drive JDRF’s relationships with current major donors and prospects. With your extensive experience of securing six-figure gifts you will develop the major donor strategy and lead on the research, cultivation, gift ask, stewardship and development of donors and prospects. 

This is an exciting time to be joining our team, we have highly engaged donors who want to support our work and a range of world-class research projects and programmes to inspire them. Our well-love Patrons’ Club and our newly introduced Accelerator Programme are managed by this post and they provide extra opportunities to engage donors in the work of JDRF.

As an experienced fundraiser you will play a leading role within JDRF and be viewed as the expert in your area of work, offering advice and guidance to others when needed to maximise opportunities across the charity. You will ensure excellence in all of your interactions with our supporters.
