About Malaria No More UK

Malaria has been described as the oldest killer disease in history; even now, despite recent progress, it claims the life of a child every two minutes. Malaria No More UK is part of a global movement that is determined to make this the generation that beats this killer. To realise this vision, we need to mobilise governments, influencers, businesses and the public, inspiring them to commit funds, energy and resources to ending deaths from malaria and wiping out the disease for good.

Job summary

The focus of the Senior Manager, Programmes and Partnerships will be to extend the reach, impact and financial sustainability of MNM UK’s strategy to halve malaria in five years, contributing significantly to doubling our income, through harnessing our catalytic communications and advocacy programmes to drive new long-term partnerships.

  • Work with health partners to identify and implement programmatic interventions, mechanisms and investments that will better help us achieve our ambitions.

Account Management

  • Manage excellent working relationships with key funding partnerships – in particular the organsiation’s principal donor.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of account management, ensuring that delivery is on track and working across the organisation to ensure engaging and effective regular reporting and impact evaluations.
  • Develop partner engagement plans that track interaction, insights and opportunities amongst leadership teams internally and externally.
  • Ensure partners receive a high standard of stewardship with ongoing potential for new opportunities and organic growth.
  • Provide exceptional communication, networking and influencing skills.

General Responsibilities

  • To work as part of an integrated fundraising and partnerships team contributing to the development of opportunities across all income streams and partnerships.
  • Be self-supporting in terms of administration, and as a member of a small staff team be willing to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the MNM UK office environment.
