Are you a positive, ambitious and strategic thinker looking to make a significant difference to the lives of children and young people? If so, we want you in our forward-thinking and award-winning fundraising team!

You will have a dynamic and proactive approach to lead the Regional (Community) Fundraising Team in delivering the strategy and take responsibility for ensuring that income is maximised from this vital revenue stream. You will play a key role in the Senior Fundraising Leadership Team and be part of our vision to be able to provide palliative care to every child and young person that needs it.

You will have a track record of producing and implementing effective strategic and operational plans, be able to undertake analysis to help support future growth, and will be a strong motivator for the team. You will also demonstrate experience of producing budgets, have a good understanding of regional/community fundraising trends and have excellent IT skills.

You will lead a team to work with local supporters, businesses, individuals and groups to raise both income and awareness of our vital work in Yorkshire. You will ensure that every supporter understands the difference they are making to the lives of babies, children, young people and their families with their fundraising efforts.

The Martin House Regional (Community) Fundraising team are based at the Hospice in Wetherby but are expected to be out in the community. You will be able to travel extensively across North, West and East Yorkshire to support the team and you must have a full UK driving licence at the time of application. This exciting post will require some unsocial and out of hours working and you should have full access to a vehicle.
