Merseyside Dogs Home is a leading Animal Welfare Charity that works within the community to help dogs and people on a journey of recovery. We have a unique approach that has received national recognition. You can read more about our approach in our human impact report on our website.

We are now looking for a dynamic and enterprising individual to deliver new voluntary income to support and develop the aims of our organisation. They must be as passionate as we are about helping our beneficiaries to attain all that they can and wish to achieve.

The successful candidate will develop the role in line with the aspirations and demands of the Trustees in collaboration with the centre manager. Initially this will be around managing and leading community fundraising with some grant application work.

However, there is the opportunity to grow with the role and to make a real difference to both the organisation and their own individual career progression.

Working throughout Merseyside you will need to be a team player with excellent communication and people skills. We require someone to be pro-active, resilient and good-humoured with excellent organisational and time management ability. You will need to develop positive and productive networks both within the organisation and externally across the region.

If you have a suitable background from working or volunteering in fundraising, then this could be an exciting opportunity for you.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
