Mind are the exclusive charity partner on RED January, a mass participation activity that raises awareness and fundraising for mental health through engaging the public to take part in regular physical activity during January.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop the activity as it enters its fourth year. As the first ever supporter-led initiative at Mind, this is a unique opportunity to work closely with the founder of this growing movement, whilst also being a vital part of Mind, the leading mental health charity.

About the Role

Working alongside the RED January Founder and reporting to the Head of Community & Events Fundraising Marketing & Innovation, you will be responsible for project managing the ongoing development of the RED January & Mind partnership and activity, leading the internal cross-organisational project group and collaborating on the development of the strategy, budget and forecasts, operational plans, communications plans, stewardship plans and reporting and evaluation.

You will lead a team to develop and deliver stewardship programmes for RED January participants to provide a nourishing and personal experience, support the RED community with their efforts to keep active and maximise their fundraising potential, helping to retain new and existing REDers.

You will be responsible for line managing two Events Fundraising Coordinators, ensuring they meet their objectives including conducting regular supervisions and annual appraisals.
