Fundraising Manager 

The National Association for People Abused in Childhood (NAPAC) is a UK charity dedicated to supporting adult survivors of childhood abuse. 

Position: Fundraising Manager 
Location: London 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Salary: Up to £35k per annum 

About the role: 

The purpose of this newly-established Fundraising Manager role is to ensure that NAPAC significantly grows and develops its income streams, which will mean that NAPAC has the financial resources to deliver on its mission to make a difference in the lives of adult survivors of childhood abuse. 

The post-holder will do this by working with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that 
challenging fundraising targets are established and then met, leading on efforts to bring new donors on board, and providing strong stewardship of the strategic relationships with donors of all types. 

In this role you will have a chance to really make a difference. You will be working in a smaller and more flexible charity, with a large degree of autonomy coupled with direct access to the CEO and Founder as well as hands-on working with colleagues. You will have the opportunity to build up a fundraising area of work almost from scratch, with the possibility to establish a fundraising team under your management. You will have a lot to do within a short space of time with plenty of space for immediate implementation of your ideas. 

About you: 

- Significant senior fundraising experience within the charity sector 
- Proven track record of delivering fundraising success 
- Excellent influencing and relationship building skills, ideally gained in the corporate or high net worth individuals’ arenas, but with the ability to develop and flex across into other fundraising sectors 
- In-depth knowledge of fundraising best practice 
- Knowledge of programme design, monitoring, evaluation and reporting 
- Successfully raised funds from major donors 
- Experience of building capacity and sharing knowledge 
- Proven experience of and ability to plan effectively at the organisational level 
- Experience of developing and implementation of strategic plans 
- Experience of budgeting and managing resources 
- Excellent project management skills 
- Excellent computer and IT skills, particularly with CRM databases 
- Educated to degree level or higher
