The National Trust look after everything from historic houses and gardens, to coastline and castles, nature reserves and villages, across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Our purpose is to care for nature, beauty and history for everyone, ensuring as many people as possible can enjoy and benefit from our places and spaces, not just now, but for generations to come.

We've got passionate people in all our teams, and there's so much more that we want to achieve. We're guardians of these places on behalf of the nation and we want everyone to feel welcome, so we've got ambitious plans for growth, we want to reach new supporters in ways that are meaningful and relevant to them without losing the hearts and minds of those that are already with us.

But how do we connect people of all ages and backgrounds with places they love, so that they want to help protect them? How do we grow our family of supporters while building a culture of creativity and innovation within fundraising? How will we engage with our outdoor audiences in a meaningful way that will generate support? As the Fundraising Director, you will work with the senior management team in delivering an ambitious and innovative strategy to provide the answers to these questions.
