Natural Breaks began in 1991 and support people with disabilities across the North West. The charity successfully provides bespoke support in homes, in work, in education, with leisure or social activities and during the difficult transition from children to adult services.

As well as directly supporting individuals to lead a fulfilling and independent life, the charity also provides much-needed respite to their families. Natural Breaks now support over 100 people and their families and has historically been funded by local authorities.

After gaining charitable status in 2016 and developing a new fundraising strategy, Natural Breaks are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced charity fundraiser to join the team to drive new revenue streams that will secure existing services and allow for an expansion of services for families in the North West. This really is a varied role and offers the opportunity to drive revenue in Trusts and Foundations, Community, Individual Giving and Corporate fundraising.

As this is a brand-new position in the team, the successful candidate will be given the autonomy and trust to deliver on the fundraising strategy, whilst also encouraged to influence senior leadership. The charity prides itself on its positive working environment and excellent track record of staff development and retention. Natural Breaks want their staff to be the best that they can be, to deliver the best possible support. They truly believe leading an ordinary life can be extraordinary.

You may be an experienced generalist ready to embrace an opportunity to work for a progressive and well-managed charity, or perhaps you are a specialist fundraiser seeking an opportunity to expand your knowledge in a supportive environment. Wherever you have developed your charity fundraising experience, we are keen to speak to you about this unique opportunity.

If you think this is a perfect match or your skillset then contact BTA as soon as possible to request an application pack.
