Events and Partnerships Manager
Job Ref: NL436
Salary: Circa £34,000 per annum
37.5 hours per week

Newlife’s work to help disabled children and their families is very attractive to individual and groups of supporters, who love the transformational impact that our equipment services deliver. Many of our services are unique and we run the UK’s only Emergency Equipment service – delivering specialist equipment across the UK often in less than 72hrs. Newlife is the largest charitable funding of specialist paediatric equipment used in the community.

In addition to our national care services, which take account of urgent need and poverty, our priorities include; Campaigning, Learning/Therapy through play and Medical Research.

Through our very successful corporate recycling and retail operation we are successful in environmental action/carbon saving and in supporting, through our volunteer programme, adults who are disadvantaged in the workplace.

This role will lead on raising funds from partnerships with communities; including groups, SME’s and from individual and group participation in all types of new and existing events. Supported by the departments Supporter Relations team and an event fundraiser, there is opportunity to craft and deliver real growth in this role.

Experience working with and recruiting volunteers is a distinct advantage, as this is an area we need to grow alongside Newlife’s Volunteer Manager. You will also work closely with the other departments, other fundraising streams and have close liaison with internal departments; including Communications, Care Services and Finance.

Responsible for the relevant budget and targets, you will bring your experience and success to help Newlife help many more disabled and terminally ill children nationwide. We are ambitious to help as many children in need as possible, so commitment and determination to achieve in this role is essential.  You will be flexible, able to travel and receive great job satisfaction knowing you have truly changed children lives.

Following review of the Job Description; if you feel you have the essential (must have) requirements and can also demonstrate a significant number of points from the desired (could have) requirements shown, please apply.
