Oasis Community Housing is focused on the eradication of homelessness. We do this by identifying the causes of homelessness and working with individuals to tackle these. Over the past 30 years our work has diversified and we currently deliver 4 main services to combat homelessness; HOME – Supported Accommodation, BASIS – Crisis services, EMPOWER -Domestic Abuse and Violence Support work and an ASPIRE – Employability programme. We have a Gateshead and London base and plan to grow over the next few years.

This role is all about developing and delivering a strategy that will enable us to engage with new and existing supporters. We are relatively new to marketing what we do and are keen to really up our game in developing our Case for Support and story base to secure supporters for our work. From developing our social media platforms, commissioning a new website, leading on our brand values and managing our PR activity this role is a dynamic and flexible one.

This role is crucial to us in building the supporter base we need to enable our sustainability and growth so you will need to hit the ground running.

How would we describe you? Well you need to be someone who keeps in touch with the changing trends in marketing and communications.  You will also be great at developing opportunities for us to talk to existing and new supporters about what we do and getting them further engaged in our work. You will be great a writing about what we do and creating engaging content for our marketing platforms.
