The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.

Our Outreach function (part of Outreach, Assessment & Outcomes team) is responsible for supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes by referring individuals onto the programme or support that is relevant for them. We achieve this by building effective links with a wide range of external organisations who work with The Trusts target groups of young people, holding events and having a good social media presence.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is outward-facing and target focused with a strong knowledge and understanding of local networks for young people in Plymouth and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate may also be required to undertake outreach activity across the whole South West region and be flexible with working hours.

You will be responsible for engaging effectively with a wide range of external organisations, therefore direct experience of relationship development and outreach or sales will be required.

Candidate's applications should focus on the personal specification.

Interview date: Thursday 24th August

The Prince's Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check
