About the role

As part of the Supporter Services Team within the Fundraising Directorate, you will be part of a Team who are the front line for a busy supporter helpline that handles a variety of calls from many different supporters. The team also process a large volume of income as well as front facing supporter care, this leads to a diverse workload, which everyone is the Team is responsible for delivering.

Working as part of a small team, you will ensure that our supporters receive an excellent service from Parkinson’s UK. This role is varied and includes many important tasks essential to building relationships, for example, ensuring supporters’ records are up to date and that our supporters are thanked to the highest standard. In addition, you will also provide front line supporter care, dealing with a range of conversations on the phone and by email.

Skills, knowledge and experience

To be successful, you will have a proven background of working to a high standard in a busy supporter care environment. You will have fast and accurate keyboard skills, an eye for detail and an understanding of the impact of our work. You will need to be well organised, hard-working, reliable, enjoy working as part of a team and influencing our work. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as experience of communicating with supporters by telephone.
