Open Doors is a dynamic and growing international Christian charity that serves the needs of the persecuted church. Research for the Open Doors World Watch List 2017 shows that persecution against Christians in 2017 is increasing, with believers in over 50 countries experiencing violence, hostility and abuse for their faith.

Through our talented and committed team of just over 60 staff, the development office for the UK & Ireland has seen income over the last 4 years grow by 55%, enabling holistic support through people and projects around the world. We want to build on this in 2018, and are seeking to appoint active, practising Christians* to help us achieve our goals.

The role

You will develop relationships with individual supporters, serving their passion, so that in partnership we can meet the needs of the persecuted church. You will work hard to engage this incredible group of people, communicating their importance as a much needed part of our ministry. This includes developing bespoke reporting on the needs of the persecuted church along with other written and verbal communications.

About you

You will be a person of commitment and character able to use excellent interpersonal skills to serve individuals in a professional but personable way.  You will have experience in a relationship management role and will be focused on prioritising your workload to achieving the best possible results to meet the great needs of the persecuted church. You will work closely with a small team using your emotional intelligence and determination to continuously improve our work, based on the best mutual interests of our partners and persecuted Christians.

With a chance to join a great team, work in an enabling and supportive culture, and develop your professional skills and experience, is it time for a new challenge?
