We have an exciting opportunity for a Trust Fundraiser to join our Income Generation department.

This role offers flexible working hours and the option to work from home up to 3 days a week.

Income from charitable trusts and foundations is vital to achieving our voluntary income targets as well as developing new income streams to generate funds from tribute funds and legacies. You will be responsible for researching and identifying appropriate charitable trusts and foundations to approach for funding for general and specific requirements.  Writing and developing high calibre cases and applications for support.

In addition, you will develop and manage relationships both internally across the hospice and externally with trusts, foundations and other appropriate non-statutory funding bodies to maximise grant income, as well as work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement and Trust and Foundation programme in line with financial planning and budgeting.

Candidates will ideally have experience of Trusts and Foundations, or relevant other fundraising experience, proven success in achieving challenging targets and experience of project development. Strong creative writing skills to prepare effective bid proposals is also required. Excellent written, interpersonal, communication and IT skills are essential for this role.
