Who are we?

We are a rapidly growing charity seeking to accelerate change for those affected by brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under 40 in the UK than any other cancer. Our five-year strategy is ambitious and sets out plans to double survival from brain tumours and halve the harm they cause to quality of life.

Our exciting job role!

We are looking for a seasoned Prospect Researcher to join our team at an exciting time as we grow an inspiring Gifts and Partnerships programme to secure six figure sums.  You will work closely with The Gifts and Partnerships Team and CEO. This new role is integral in identifying synergies across Corporate, Trust and Major Donor income areas and encourage a fluid, fulfilling donor journey as appropriate.

This role is full time - 37.5 hours and will be based in our Farnborough office, with some out of hours working. Please note that we would consider part-time and a flexible location for an exceptional candidate

What we'd like from you:

It's simple - all you need to succeed in this role is talent, ambition and energy. You must completely embrace our values, offer a great cultural fit, inspire us every day and deliver amazing results in a fast paced environment.

According to the job description you also need to be adept at balancing a number of competing priorities across these three high-value income streams, be efficient, effective, engaging, work well under pressure to meet deadlines, have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships with our stakeholders.  You will need to be flexible in your approach and form outstanding relationships with members of the Gifts and Partnerships Team, the wider Fundraising Team and the entire organisation.

What we'd like to give you:

- Salary c.£35,000 (dependent on experience)

- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (we also close at Christmas in return for you volunteering 3 charity days per year)

- Generous pension contribution*

- Life assurance cover*

- Employee Assistance Programme

- Loads of other great benefits, plus an amazing culture to work in, a great team and lots of fun (and cake!)

How to apply to join our amazing team:

Please apply online attaching your CV and a supporting statement explaining why you want the role, what you would bring to the team and how your skillset and experience will enable us to make a real impact for those affected by brain tumours.
