About Us

Queenscourt Hospice is an independent charity that provides support for the people of Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. We care for patients with serious illnesses, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life at each new stage. We help to do this both in the Hospice and at Home through our In-patient unit, Queenscourt Connect and Queenscourt at Home services.

About the roles

Corporate and Events Fundraiser (£23,000 - £25,000)

The Corporate and Events Fundraiser is a new and exciting post at Queenscourt Hospice. You will be joining the team at a crucial time as we look to grow support and diversify income streams. In this post you will lead the development and implementation of our flagship fundraising events as well as managing existing corporate partnerships and securing new ones, in line with the Hospice’s Income Generation Strategy.

Reporting to the Head of Income Generation you will have responsibility for delivering and reinvigorating existing events and creating new events to compliment the portfolio and increase support. This is a varied role that will see you managing corporate relationships and supporting delivery of new strategic partnerships too. This role will also involve some line management responsibilities.

Community Fundraiser (£19,600 - £22,900)

The Community Fundraiser will be responsible for developing the charity’s community networks effectively to increase income. To do this you will create innovative campaigns and products to maximise support and get the community excited about supporting Queenscourt Hospice.

We are looking for a fundraising professional who has an excellent understanding of relationship management, supporter development and who has the drive and enthusiasm necessary to help grow this programme.

Both roles require some weekend and evening work.
