Head of Fundraising

£38k to £41k pa  

Based at Hapton, Norfolk

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading equine welfare charity working in a supportive team with the welfare of horses at the heart of everything we do. Reporting to the Chief Executive and as a member of the Senior Management Team, the person appointed will work with staff across Redwings to enable a culture and approach that values collaboration, ambition and innovation. This person will have the gravitas and credibility to manage internal and external relationships at all levels and inspire others through your vision and passion to fund the work of the UK’s largest horse sanctuary charity.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, outstanding, innovative and senior fundraising leader, with excellent skills and knowledge along with a proven track record. The person appointed will be responsible for multiple income streams including Individual Giving, Trusts and Foundations, Corporate, Community and Supporter Services as well as our Visitor Centres and Trading. Based in Norfolk, the post-holder will visit our sites across the UK.

The successful applicant will have well-developed management and leadership skills, be a strategic as well as a creative thinker and keen to have a hands-on approach that makes the most of our front-line work. They will have a proven track record in fundraising from a range of sources and be up-to-date with fundraising practice and relevant legislation especially in this digital age. They will be committed to a donor/supporter focused approach to ensure we continue to look after our existing supporters whilst also introducing new supporters to our vital work.
